Introduction to Stoicism
Introductory Talk from Stoicon Conference on Modern Stoicism
Hi everyone,
This is my introductory talk on Stoicism from the Stoicon 2017 Modern Stoicism in Toronto. I was the organizer and had been asked to give a brief talk bringing everyone up to speed by providing a lightning guide to Stoicism: Who were the Stoics and what did they believe?
We had the conference professionally video recorded and so you can watch a high quality of video here of the whole presentation. I've also included a transcript of the entire talk, which I read from notes because it was pretty packed with specific details. I've also included an embedded version of the original slideshow, so you can see the slides more easily online.
Hope you enjoy! Feel free to post your comments under the video.
Regards,
